 The LS201 is an 8" bass mid range designed specifically for high quality two-way systems. It's Thiele-Small parameters have been optimised for use in compact enclosures.
The paper cone, rubber surround and dustcap are critically matched and doped for a smooth response with minimal levels of colouration. The upper midband response is extended and tailored to roll off smoothly at 18dB/octave allowing use with a tweeter and high pass filter only if desired.
The substantial magnet is rear vented for enhanced voice coil cooling.
