 The RV4514 uniquely features three cooling systems. In addition to the usual vented magnet it also uses the patented Radial chassis, which acts as a giant heat sink, plus a multi-finned magnet intercooler. This keeps voice coil temperatures exceptionally low resulting in 3dB less power compression and tight, clean bass after prolonged operation at maximum power. The RV4514 has a 4” (100mm) 4 layer copper voice coil, triple rear suspensions, double roll linen surround and a symmetrical field magnet for greater efficiency, linearity and motor strength. Combine this
with a loudspeaker where the Thiele -Small parameters have been optimised for use with horn systems and whose cone excursion is a massive 50mm (2”) before damage and the result is a driver that provides continuous high SPL and extended low bass for horn systems, but also suited to high efficiency reflex systems.
