 The RVCXD3153 uses the Radial chassis with a rear mounted BMS 4548 compression driver. It features excellent vocal projection and clarity along with high power handling and sensitivity. A matching 24dB/octave crossover integrates the two transducers to give a smooth controlled response both on and off axis.
Since the conventional vented magnet cooling system is not usable in a coaxial unit the front mounted Radial chassis uniquely provides a very effective heat sink allowing much cooler operation for excellent reliability and low power compression. The smooth response and good pattern control are due to the special horn mounted flush in the central hub. This eliminates conventional horns which interfere with cone radiation yet gives 900H X 600V coverage angles unlike a machined pole with simple, conical dispersion.
